Steven was born in Dinuba, California in 1951. He attended elementary and secondary schools there and was active in the 4-H program at the local, county, state and national levels. Upon graduation from high school he attended Reedley College and transferred to the University of California at Davis where he majored in Agricultural Economics, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in 1973 with Higher Honors. Steven immediately went on to law school at the University of San Diego, receiving his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, in 1976. After teaching agriculture in Jamaica he returned to the central valley where he became an associate attorney in the law firm of Crowe, Mitchell & Crowe in Visalia. Steven has continuously remained with the firm since that time and is now the senior partner of Williams, Brodersen & Pritchett LLP where he actively practices in the areas of business and estate planning, real estate and agricultural law and civil litigation.
Steven married his wife, Denise, in 1978. They have two grown daughters, both living in the Pasadena area of southern California. Steven and Denise enjoy worldwide travel mixed with good food and wine. He is also actively involved within the Visalia community through his years of service on various city and non-profit boards, including the Visalia Friends of the Fox Theatre.
